Our Story
Infusio began in 2019 as a small passion project — a shared spreadsheet and a Telegram chat between a handful of Ukrainian tea enthusiasts who were tired of having nowhere to record and share their discoveries. Within months, the list of teas had grown past a thousand entries and the chat past five hundred members.
We built the first version of the platform in Kyiv, drawing inspiration from communities like Fragrantica and RateBeer but tailoring every feature to the nuances of tea: the importance of harvest season, brewing method, water temperature, and the centuries-old herbal traditions of the Carpathian region.
Today Infusio is home to over 15,000 catalogued teas and more than 9,000 members from across Ukraine and the Ukrainian diaspora worldwide. We remain independent, community-driven, and deeply committed to making tea culture accessible to anyone who is curious enough to take a first sip.
